The Bourbonnais Fire District ended the calendar year 2021 by answering record breaking 4,580 calls. Calendar year 2022 has started out at a record pace for the Bourbonnais Fire Protection District as we finish up June 2022 answering 2,216 calls for service, the most calls that the Fire District has answered in any previous year for the same time frame. This equates to a 6% increase (133 calls) in call volume for the same time frame in 2021. If the Fire District continues on the same pace we expect to break 4,700 calls for service. This does not include the number of non-emergency requests that have been made by the community.

The Fire District continues to seek opportunities such as hiring additional personnel to increase our daily staffing model to meet the demand for both emergency and non-emergency services. In the meantime, our personnel are committed to answering every request that we possibly can, but there are times that your requests will overwhelm our available in - house resources. In those situations please understand that we will make every attempt to ensure someone responds to your request.

We encourage the community members to visit the station and learning about our future goals, objectives, and needs.
