| This is our third exciting news release for the month of October as the Bourbonnais Fire Protection District is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Fire Prevention and Safety Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) totaling approximately $60,000.
This funding will be used to enhance community risk reduction programs, purchase a new digital message board, provide upgrades to the Fire Safety Trailer, and expand fire prevention education materials for residents.
This grant provides valuable resources to strengthen our fire safety outreach and education efforts throughout the community. By promoting awareness and preparedness, we continue to work toward our goal of building a fire-safe community.
The Bourbonnais Fire Protection District remains committed to seeking additional grant opportunities that support our mission of protecting life and property.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security for their continued support of the fire service and dedication to community fire safety education. |
